CONCIOUS LIFE - work in progress
I received national Australia Council funding for choreographic creative development of 'Concious Life' working with Breakers and Contemporary Dancers Josh Mu, Paul Blackman, Katrina Lazaroff, Zareena Cousins, Rob and Chris Sackett, Tara Soh aand a Tabla player Bal Singh in Perth Western Australia. With consultation from mentor Rennie Harris the success of this project led to the short film 'Oru Divasum' shot in Chennai India and featured at International film festivals REELDANCE Sydney Opera House launch and National tour, CINEMOVES Australia, il Coreografo Elettronico International Dance Film Festival, Naples, Italy and MOVES UK. Oru Divasum was shortlisted for an Au
stralian Dance Award for Best Dance Film.
